Expanded Playoffs and the XFL Opening Weekend

The NFL and MLB are both discussing expanded playoff scenarios highlighted by a reality TV baseball experience. The XFL beats the NBA in television ratings over its opening weekend. It also outdrew the numbers the AAF posted in its opening game last year. Michigan State gets turned down by just about everyone in their football coaching search and national signing day did not treat USC well.
